~Experience the everyday life of rural Japan by taking part in your host's way of life.~
A husband-and-wife team runs this one-group-per-day farm stay in the satoyama of Ayabe, northern Kyoto, where we grow vegetables and rice mainly for our own consumption.
At Chabu Dining, guests can cook rice in a traditional clay pot, make miso soup, walk through our fields, and share meals around the irori (traditional sunken hearth).
Rather than simply visiting tourist attractions, we invite you to take part in our everyday life and experience the simple pleasures of rural Japan.
