【Report by the foreigner who knows Ayabe well.】
Name of facility : Sakura (Farm stay) Visit date : 2020/7/25 Visitor name : Sazonov Maxim
I stayed at Sakura in Nishigata-cho, Ayabe city.
It is a very clean and beautiful facility.
Renovated and very comfortable.
The room is large, and you can spend a cozy time whether you are traveling alone or with a family.
The toilet is equipped with the latest bidet function, and the bath and its amenities are great, so it was better than I expected.
There is also a washing machine in the washroom, so you will not have any trouble with laundry during a long stay.
The owner was very kind and hospitable, and I enjoyed talking with her.
The location is a little far away from city center of Ayabe and it may be hard to go without a car.
But it seems there is a bus that takes you to the front of the facility from JR Ayabe station (about 26 minutes).
The facility situated deep in countryside and has a very quiet and calm atmosphere.
There is also a small river and shrine nearby, so you can take a leisurely walk.
Breakfast is delicious and it is like home cooking.
Having breakfast while talking is more like a home stay than a guesthouse.
I think it will be a very good opportunity for foreign visitors to experience the country life.
